We are off to a great start! Thank you for everything you do to make each day successful for your child. We are getting into the routine of things and we are already into our curriculum areas of study. We are working on Economics in Social Studies and Water/States of Matter and Weather in Science. In Math we are working on place value to the millions and soon we will begin multiplication. Please practice the multiplication facts to 12 with your child!
In Language Arts we are working on narrative writing, sentence types, subject/predicate in sentences and basic reading skills and strategies. Please encourage your child to read at least 20 minutes each evening. Check your child's agenda nightly for other homework assignments.
