Welcome to Mrs. Havird's first grade class! My main objectives for the year are to create a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students, to instill a love for learning, and to have FUN! I think that there are many different ways to learn one concept, so students will be learning in a variety of ways. I love to DO activities, not just hear about them! :) I think that it is vital for students to cover not only the subjects taught in school, but also those social skills that they will carry with them for a lifetime.
