Our new unit is on fractions and decimals. We will be studying improper fractions, mixed numerals, and equivalent fractions. We will also study weight this unit.
We have begun our unit on Space. We will be learning about stars, planets, and the solar system. We had a great time playing music with our recycled products during our unit on Sound.
We have studied the American Revolution and are now studying the Constitution and the growth of our country. We will soon be learning about the Louisiana Purchase and the westward expansion.
Conference week will soon be upon us. Remember students are dismissed 2 hours earlier each day. Conferences begin on Tuesday, January 22 and end on Monday, January 28. Don't forget to visit the book fair during week too!
We had a great time on our field trip to the Cobb County Youth Museum. Students participated in skits about the American Revolution. It was a very educational and fun filled trip!
