Fall Festival

PTA's Fall Festival is Saturday, October 27th!  Come out for a fun filled day at Chalker.  This is a great fall family activity; hope to see many of you there!

Refections

Congratulations to all the students who participated in PTA's Reflections program.  We had some great entries.  Great job!

Science

We are now studying about forces and simple machines.  We learned about energy with the help of "Monkey Man" and some balloon racers.  We will be learning how simple machines help us out.

Social Studies

We are enjoying reading about the history of our country in our weekly newspapers.  We are learning about the colonies and the first Thanksgiving.  We will be comparing the colonies to understand how the people lived.  We will soon begin building our country.

Math

We have begun our second unit. In this unit we will extending multiplication and division to 3 digit numbers multiplied and divided by 2 digit numbers.  We will also be working on some geometry.
