Here are the weekly Reading Choosies that were mentioned at Open House. Students should complete one of these a week based on what they are reading independently. (Repeats not permitted until all 7 are completed, with the exception of rewriting the ending until book completeted). 
Draw a picture from the book/story. Write at least 3 sentences about the drawing.
Bubble map of a character.
Flow map about chapter or story.
Write about the Problem and Solution; make up a new solution to the problem.
Write a new ending.
Design a book cover.
