Dear Parents,

    Please don't forget that Open House for third grade will be Thursday, September 4 @ 7:00p.m.

   Spelling tests were great last week.  We will have another test this Friday the 29th. Words for this week are: 1.sandwich  2.blanket  3.effort  4.traffic  5.napkin  6.package 7.napkin  8.panic  9.basket  10.address  11.cabin  12.banner  13.gather  14.salad   15.celery  16.cactus  17.element  18.desert  19.predator   20.family

   We will meet or kindergarten BOOK BUDDIES this week in Mrs. Patrie's room.  We usually get together the last day of the month which will be Spirit Days!

   We have been changing classes for math, science and social studies.  This has been running smoothly.

   Agendas should be coming each day with homework assignments written in them. We are working on NEATNESS!!!

              Dear Parents,

                  We are off to a great start.  Math compacting started today. The students will switch classes from 9:10-10:00 everyday.

                  Spelling words this week will be short a and short o words. We will have a test this Friday on these 20 words.  1.bath  2.hobby  3.than  4.damp  5.bottle 6.lots  7.trash  8.trash  9.pocket 10.flap  11.swam  12.pack  13.colony  14.path  15.shop  16.flock 17.rocket  18.pod  19.slam  20. clock

                  In Social Studies we will cover ancient Greek civilization and discuss what the word democracy really means.

                  Collage projects are also due Friday.

**Please have the students return blue folders and assignment books each day!! Any transportation notes or other important information  are to be returned in the blue folder.

I love this class and we are going to have a great year!!!!

Welcome Back to School!!!!     This is going to be a great year.   Thanks to all of you that came to Sneak- a -Peek.   We had a great turnout and the students are ready to go.  I am looking forward to having a great year .   

Math classes will begin next week along with Social Studies and Science. We will also begin with spelling next week and other homework assignments.

Cobb County folders were sent home today.  Please sign and return any information needed.

This week we will continue with bonding exercises and simple routines.
