Ms. Rhone's Report

Dear Parents,

     The students are to begin working on homework assignments this week.  They have written in their agendas and I will initial the pages before they leave for the day.

     I will assign math pages this week, language, grammar and spelling words.

     The spelling words are core words that we will be working on from the Sitton spelling curriculum.  We will have unit tests and complete skills that go along with the core words.  We will not always have Friday spelling tests.  I will discuss this further at Open House on September 6th.

     In Social Studies we are going over map skills. We have new gobes, maps and books that are wonderful !!

  Please have students return homework folders and agendas back to school each day.

      Hello everyone!!

            We have had a great start to our year!! Thanks to my wonderful class we are all getting along great! (smile)

            Homework folders and agendas went home today because the students were so excited about having agendas this year.  You do not need to pay for the agendas.  The students have a simple homework assinment due this Friday and another assignment due Monday the 20th.  I will give new homework instructions next Monday.

            We are still getting organized and have some housekeeping to do but everything is running smoothly.
