Division

We are working hard on division; however, division is often seen as abstract to many students.  If able please provide extra practice for ddivision at home.  This practice will be beneficial for the student aswe transition into larger numbers.

Red Ribbon Week Monday- Friday ( a flyer was sent home detailing the themes for each day).

FOURTH GRADE IS GOOD!!!!   A flyer went home today about the new fourth grade t-shirts.  Each class has a different color.  Our class color is sapphire ooooooh!  The price is $7.  Please send the payment in with the permission slip (for sizes).  This is not mandatory;however, our goal is for 100% participation.

The bookfair is next week.  We will visit on Monday.  Please participate in book fair purchases; some of the proceeds will go to Chalker.

I will be out two days next week, Thursday and Friday, for a math conference.  Please feel free to contact me via e-mail if needed.

October 9th - BOOSTERTHON RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please come out to support our team, "Littlejohn's Eagles," as we run our laps.  We are currently at $23 per lap.  Please, please, please encourage your child to get as many pledges as possible.  We are currently in 2nd place for the fourth grade!!

Marble Party!!

We have successfully filled our marble jar!!!  We will be planning a mini party for either our Boosterthon Fun Run or on Friday.  A letter will be sent home.  Please help in donating healthy snacks to our celebration.

Our auction will be coming up soon.  Our class would appreciate inexpensive donation as prizes.

Information went home about the Science Fair today

EAGLE Readers- The students have been working sooo hard this period.  A requirement for students this year is to read 25 books.  We will read Weekly Readers and chapter books in class to help with the list; however, students are required to read their own chapter books (no less than 80 pages-100 pages).  After, they read each book it should be logged on their reading log.  Once recorded they should have it initialed by a parent or guardian.
