Chorus Large Group Performance Evaluation

At the end of February the Chalker Chorus went to an evaluation.  There they received an excellent rating from the judges.  Congratulations Chalker Chorus!  Below are some pictures from the event.

3rd and 4th Grade Starting Recorders in February

Third and Fourth Grade Students need by FEBRUARY 3rd:

*A SOPRANO RECORDER

*POCKET FOLDER

Recorders can be purchased at the school store for $3.00 every FRIDAY morning before school.  

Chalker Chorus Calendar

We have rehearsals on every Tuesday after school from 2:30-3:30.

There have been 2 new perfomances added to our schedule. The times are to be determined so check back in the next few weeks to see the updated shedule!

Upcoming Performances:

November 18th-4-7 PM (specific time still to be determined) Publix on Bells Ferry Holiday Fest
December 4th-6:30 PM-meet in music room-Holiday PTA Performance
December 6th-time to be announced-Northwest Reality hosting a charity event called "Sweets for Santa"
December 19thduring school-school holiday assembly

4th and 5th Grade Chalker Chorus Auditions

Auditions are to be held for 4th and 5th graders on Saturday, October 4th. You must attend an audition to be a part of chorus. Please sign up for a time on the chorus bulletin board outside the music room for that Saturday. Please prepare the following for auditions:

1. A song You can choose your favorite song or perform one from music class like "Star Spangled Banner" or "America, the Beautiful."

2. A Parent to fill out forms

3. Registration Fee $20 for new members, $10 for returning members who still have their shirt from last year

4. Show up on time to your audition

I look forward to hearing all those trying out and look forward to a fun year of singing!!

If anyone CAN NOT attend Saturday there is a sign up sheet for Tuesday, October 7th before school.

New Name...Same Face

On June 21st I got married!  My name has changed from Miss Lindsay to Mrs. Zurcher.  The way to pronounce my new last name is Zur-ker.  Most students call me Mrs. Z.  I am happy to talk about my wedding and you can check out some of my pictures.
