Welcome Letter
Hi Parents.
Welcome to Kindergarten at Chalker. I enjoyed meeting all of you at our Sneak A Peek yesterday. I am so excited to begin working with your child. If you need to reach me at school my e-mail address is joni.huckaby@cobbk12.org. I will check my e-mail each day between 12:55-1:35. For things that are important (if your child is going home with a friend or someone else is picking up your child) I will need a note from you. This is very important because you don't know if your child will have a substitute. We want to make sure your child gets home correctly. Thanks, in advance, for helping us with this matter.
Your child will be bring home a "Specials Schedule" the first day. This schedule will let you know which day your child will be at either Art (A), Music (M), Computer (C), or Physical Education (PE). On the days your child has PE please make certain they wear their tennis shoes. Even the days we don't have PE, it is a good idea to wear tennis shoes because we do go outside and play on the playground.
