Real brief format -
5th - We have now gone from still life pencil drawings to watercolor. The children see the importance of building their painting on the strong skeleton of their drawing skills.
4th - We finished our 1 point perspective city drawings and have moved to drawing still lifes of toys.
3rd - We are building clay coil pots with elevated hand building techniques and approaches.
2nd - We are creating crayon resist drawings of the toys.
1st - We are building clay creatures!
k - We are developing clay pinch pots!
All of these lessons place emphasis on the importance of the art elements of design in the art world. We continue to forge ahead with eagerness to learn more not only about art, but about each other.
