2007-2008 Will be "A Wonderful Year of Reading"
Students are reading to themselves, to their teachers, to each other, to the class, silent reading, and reading for homework too. We are working with them to become more aware of answering questions about the text they have read.
Each student is taking home daily a homework journal with their assignment for that night. Parents are welcome to write notes back on that page, or on another sheet of paper should they wish to send a note regarding homework or other questions/concerns.
Mrs. Owens and I are delighted with the wonderful students we have in our class this year. The students are very willing to work and learn.
I am happy to be the teacher of every student in my class.
