Bennett Bright Star Newsletter/Blog
We had a wonderful first week of school. We focused on building relationships and getting used to our class routine. I can confidently say that each child has a new best buddy. We will slowly add curriculum each day until we are fully up and running.
Thank you to everyone for all of the supplies. We are stocked!
Our lunch time is 11:08-11:38. If you plan on having lunch with your child please wait for us by the bench outside of the cafeteria. You may invite one other child to eat with you (if you desire). Please remember that fast food and sodas are not allowed in the lunchroom. After lunch is over please say goodbye to your child in the lunchroom. This cuts down on the tears from children who do not have a lunch time visitor.
Since this is my first update I am sending this home via paper, but normally, due to saving paper, I will make class updates on my blog. You can access the blog by going to the Chalker webpage and clicking on my name. If you do not have access to a computer please send in a note and let me know.

Hello Everyone.
Welcome to the Bright Star Blog/Newsletter. I will use this site to post important information regarding our class. I will also post the homework/specials calendar on the blog in case the paper copy is ever lost. Please check in every other week to stay updated on class information, news, and needs.
We had a great turn out at Meet and Greet. It was wonderful meeting all of you. I am looking forward to a fantastic year. See you Monday!
